About Sri Lanka
     Sri Lanka, or the Tear Drop of the Orient as it is sometimes dubbed, is a small island located off the southern tip of India. Like many countries with tropical climates, Sri Lanka has both rainy and dry seasons.
     Throughout the entire island a traveler can expect to find striking architectural buildings, kind locals and appealing food. The animals and vegetation of this tropical republic is definitely worth exploring. There are animal parks that allow visitors to come and observe several animals including leopards, elephants, lizards, sloths, bears, monkeys, and several more. DAY 01: Arrive Colombo (Dinner)

     Meeting at Yangon Airport, Fly to Bangkok, and then change Flight to Colombo. Arrive Colombo, Meet and greet with guide, transfer from airport to hotel. Overnight at Colombo.

DAY 02: Colombo - Anuradhapura (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

      Morning drive to Anuradhapura(about 5hours), Arrive Anuradhapura, Afternoon visit Mihintale, "Missaka Pabbata" this is 1000 feet in height and is one of the peaks of a mountainous range. Though this was called Cetiyagiri or Sagiri, it was popularly known as Mihintale - the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Overnight at Anuradhapura.

DAY 03: Anuradhapura (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

     Breakfast at the Hotel. Visit The Sacred Jaya Siri Maha Bodhi. It is reckoned as the oldest surviving historical tree in the world. Ruwanveliseya Temple, This majestic dageba (Temple) 300 ft. Thuparama Temple, Thuparama is the first dageba (Temple) to be built in Anuradhapura enshrining the right collarbone of the Buddha. Ater lunch, Visit Isurumuniya, This picturesque rock temple dates back to the 3rd century BC. The beautiful stone sculptures seen at the temple are considered the most beautiful works of art in Anuradhapura. Abayagiriya Temple and Temple of Jethavana, Lankarama museum. Overnight at Anuradhapura.

DAY 04: Anuradhapura - Polonnaruwa (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

      After breakfast at the Hotel proceed to Polonnaruwa, and visit Aukana Statue, It is a unique creation by an unknown sculptor. After lunch, Visit Parakrama Samudrayacatch, The huge lake upon whose north-eastern shore Polonnaruwa rests is an inland sea. Nissankamalla Palace, A stone structure with pillars built in the shape of floral stems constructed. Overnight at Polonnaruwa.

DAY 05: Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

      After Breakfast at the Hotel visit to view the ruins of temples and places especially famous sculptures of Gal Vihara (The temple of Stone), Cut from a single granite wall, the statues of Lord Buddha, at Gal Vihara (rock shrine), in Polonnaruwa, rank among the finest in Sri Lanka. And thereafter proceed to Sigiriya. overnight at Polonnaruwa.

DAY 06: Sigiriya - Dambulla - Kandy (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

     After breakfast at the Hotel climb the Sigiriya Rock, this is known as the eight wonder of the world. This rock fortress was a royal citadel for more than 18 years. Proceed to Kandy. Enroute visit Dambulla, Dambulla rock temple is a vast isolated rock mass, it is a world heritage site and is the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceilings found here are over 2,000 years old and is the largest area of paintings found in the world. Overnight at Kandy.

DAY 07: Kandy (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

      Very early morning visit the Temple of Tooth Relic to take part in Buddhist ritual. Kandy is Situated 115 km North-East of Colombo set in hills around an artificial lake and probably the most beautiful town in Sri Lanka. where one can witness a tradition worship ceremony. Afternoon you will be hosted to meditation program at nearby Monastry. Overnight at Kandy.

DAY 08: Kandy - Colombo (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

      After breakfast at the Hotel proceed to Colombo. Colombo is the Commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Like many capital cities in developing countries Colombo is fast changing its face. In no time, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood, yet in some parts; the old world charm is retained. Arrive Colombo and sightseeing. Overnight at Colombo.

DAY 09: Colombo Departure (Breakfast)

     After Breakfast at the Hotel, transfer to the Airport for your flight back home or next destination.
